our agency has grown over the years to address most of the
challenges children, adults, families, and communities face across
the lifespan, including substance use, child abuse and neglect,
domestic violence/sexual assault, human trafficking, homelessness,
juvenile justice, mental health, neighborhood distress, and
poverty. Today, we offer 42 programs from 20 locations in east
central Nebraska and southwest Iowa. At Heartland Family Service,

THE OPPORTUNITY As the newest member of the Systems Team, this
position requires 2+ years of work experience or associates degree
in a technology or related field. You will be working closely with
the Director of IT, Network and Systems administrators. Previous
Windows Server support and Helpdesk is helpful. Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. You will engage in
multiple facets of Heartland Family Service's infrastructure and
network, including Windows systems, MS System Center, SharePoint,
Virtualization and Storage solutions, and SQL server This position
will be the 3 rd level support on systems issues for the helpdesk
staff. We never lose sight of our highest priority: ensuring that
all Heartland Family Service customer and company data is secure
and available. These goals drive all that we do, and we're excited

Family Service and every customer.
- Endpoint Device Administration - Administers and manages
endpoint devices including desktop computers, laptops, and phones.
This includes BYOD and MDM solutions.
- Infrastructure Maintenance - Updates and maintains existing
systems infrastructures including hardware, OS, and software
updates/upgrades
- Infrastructure Implementation - Assists with research, design,
implementation, and support for new solutions and system
infrastructure to support the agency needs and goals
- Phone System - Administers and maintains the phone system
- Documentation - Develops and updates documentation for systems
and solutions
- Team Efficiency - Supports the team in efficiency and process
including by implementing and training on tools for remote support
and management
- Business Continuity - Assists with development, implementation,
and administration of disaster recovery systems and business
continuity plans in coordination with the Director of
Technology
- Email Administration - Supports and maintains email
infrastructure, including email routing, filtering and security
solutions, encryption, etc.
- Virtualization and Storage - Works with/on virtualization and
storage infrastructure including VMware and Hyper-V technologies
and SAN/NAS solutions
- Cloud Administration - Supports the agency's cloud deployments
including Microsoft 365/Office 365 and Google Workspace.
- PKI Administration - Administers and manages the organization's
PKI including internal and external certificates
- Intranet Administration - Manages agency intranet site,
including updates, upgrades, changes to site design, and other
content and non-content related changes.
- IT Team Collaboration - Collaborates, trains, shares knowledge
and skills, serves as 3 rd level escalation support on systems
issues, provides coverage including help desk, and supports the
staff and goals of the IT Team
- Security Analysis/Risk Mitigation - Identifies security
concerns and implements security solutions and procedures to
mitigate risk
- Database Administration - Assists with administration and
management of database systems
- On-Call Rotation - Part of on-call rotation for after-hours
