Title: Technology Help Desk SpecialistReports to: Technology ManagerLocation: Omaha, NECompensation: Hourly non-exemptOffice Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pmSchedule: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm; some off-hours assistance as needed

Position Summary:The Technology Help Desk Specialist will report to the Technology Manager and assist in everyday technology related needs as well as participate in various IT projects. The positions primary purpose is the delivery of IT help desk user support and troubleshooting ensuring day-to-day IT issues are timely addressed.
Roles:Be familiar with managing, diagnosing, and troubleshooting a Windows 10 Pro environment.Be knowledgeable of the Microsoft Office Suite with ability to install or repair and troubleshoot issues affecting Outlook, Excel, Word etc.Be knowledgeable of computer workstation setups, to include assembling/setting up hardware and installing software/updates.Take the appropriate steps to ensure systems remain up and available and work with vendors to correct downtimes.Basic network troubleshooting skillsOpportunity to gain experience and use various business-related systems.Assisting with local PC security and user management.Work on various technology initiatives that create timesaving, value added efficiencies using systems and automation.Assist with process, asset, or network documentation.Maintain network security by administrating user account permissions for available systems, monitoring and reviewing access logs, and maintaining data confidentiality, integrity, and availability.This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee. Type of Individual:Working on or has associate or bachelors degree in computer science or related field.Must be well organized, meticulous and likes working with all types of technology.Customer service attitude with ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.Interest in learning and gaining experience with a fast growing and dynamic business.
Skills/Abilities:Detail and project management oriented.Skills in systems and network administration.Ability to attend annual Franchise Convention.Attend 1-2 continued education conferences each year.
Environmental/Working Conditions:Normal office environment. Occasional overtime may be required, or hours adjusted as business needs dictate.
Physical Demands:Requires sitting and standing associated with a normal office environment. Manual dexterity needed for using a calculator and computer keyboard. This description is intended to provide only basic guidelines for meeting job expectations.
