POSITION SUMMARY: Remote Opportunity (except CA/NY/PA)Boys Town
is looking for a ServiceNow Developer Analyst to join our Service
Delivery team. This is a small synergistic group that is
responsible for the ServiceNow platform and its functionality. In
this role, you will contribute to the ongoing development,
integration, automation, reporting, testing, analysis, and
configuration of the ServiceNow cloud platform. This position will
also partner with functional product owners to define requirements,
identify application solutions, and create reports. To be
successful in this role, you must be a critical thinker, have the
ability to take initiative and possess solid communication
skills.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & DUTIES:Analyzes internal end user and
business needs, as well as ServiceNow platform capabilities, to
create solutions to business technical challenges, and leverage
tool capabilities.Researches, designs, creates, tests, and manages
assigned systems.Supports ongoing development, integration,
configuration, automation, and administration of the ServiceNow
Platform.Works closely with team members and stakeholders to
configure, test, document, and deploy changes to the environment
while ensuring the system remains healthy and functions
efficiently.Tracks, prioritizes, and implements integration
requests and bug fixes, leveraging formal release and change
management processes. On-call duties are included as part of this
position.Configures, develops, implements, and maintains multiple
ServiceNow modules including, ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, Custom Business
Applications and Service Portal.Partners with leadership to
socialize architecture and development best practices within
ServiceNow across a shared environment.Configures ServiceNow
applications, including creating workflows, writing JavaScript,
optimizing the UI, and managing groups and roles to meet user
requirements.Analyzes requirements and current procedures in order
to improve system capabilities.Analyzes, troubleshoots, and fixes
identified ServiceNow system issues / operational support
tickets.Maintains technical and functional knowledge applicable to
the ServiceNow platform.Builds reports, dashboards, scripts, and
requests and manages permissions and other module-specific
configuration to support business requirements.Serves as a role
model in carrying out the Father Flanagan's Boys' Home
mission.Directs all activities towards the fulfillment of the Boys
Town missionDirects all actions to reflect the values and
principles of Boys TownEstablishes and maintains an environment

SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Ability to research and understand new,
complicated processes, and procedures.Ability to learn new
technologies as they relate to the ongoing improvement of the
ServiceNow platform.Intermediate knowledge of the ServiceNow
Platform.Knowledge of implementations and/or migrations to the
ServiceNow platform.Proficient in JavaScript and HTML.Ability to
integrate third-party software and APIs with ServiceNow using REST
and SOAP.Knowledge of accurate task breakdown/estimation, unit
testing, and delivering on time and in scope.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE,
AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS:Bachelor's degree in MIS, Information
Technology, related field, or equivalent.4 years of hands-on
experience in ServiceNow including development, configuration,
integration, and implementation with an advanced knowledge of the
platform.Practical understanding of project management
methodologies and the software development lifecycle.Excellent
organizational skills, attention to detail, and communication
skills (written/oral).CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSURES, AND LANGUAGE
SKILLS:ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist
Certification, ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
Certification and ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
Certification are a plus. ITIL Foundation, Practitioner
Certification a plus.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND EQUIPMENT
USAGE:Position requires little to moderate physical activity.
Mostly sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force
occasionally or a negligible amount of force frequently to lift,
carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting
most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief
periods of time. No significant stooping is usually required.WORK
ENVIRONMENT:Work is typically in a normal office administrative or
computer environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks.
