Summary/Objective: As an Integrations Developer with our company, AKA Software Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting other developers in development and testing. Qualified candidates must have experience software development projects. This candidate will need to have understanding in object oriented programming and data structures. This position works in cross-functional team to develop software solutions to our business users using Agile methodology. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Create developments in multiple languages to help build larger applications 2. QA testing and debugging of produced code 3. Development of applications and API endpoints within company middleware 4. Troubleshoot system issues and provide explanations to software issues 5. Effectively communicate with functional analysts to help provide technical solutions 6. Read, write and understand functional and technical specification documents 7. Effectively follow logic, read code samples, and provide common language pseudocode 8. Provide regular updates with respect to progress on tasks and projects. Qualifications: Education: Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in computer science is preferred, or equivalent experience Experience: We are looking for: - Proficiency in one programming language. - Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS - Experience with SSIS and SSRS - Experience in REST API development and usage - Experience with Agile software development methodology - Experience with SQL, PL/SQL preferred - Experience with Relational Databases Competencies: - Ability to collaborate with a multifunctional team - Ability to analyze problems and design, implement and test appropriate solutions to problems - Ability to document and communicate technical information for consumption by ES&S managers and associates - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal Travel: Approximately 10% travel is expected.
