Job Description Job Description Job Summary As a skilled and experienced Laydown Yard Operator, you will be responsible for operating a Class 7 heavy-duty outdoor forklifts and telehandlers to unload poles and heavy materials for high voltage lines from flatbed trucks and storing the inventory away in the yard. This role requires prior Class 7 heavy-duty outdoor forklift and Telehandler forklift operating experience, a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. This is a full-time position working a consistent schedule, Monday-Friday 7:00am-4pm or 8:00am-5:00pm Responsibilities Unload poles and heavy materials for high voltage lines from flatbed trucks Store inventory in the yard Operate Class 7 heavy-duty outdoor forklifts and telehandlers safely and effectively Adhere to all company safety protocols and procedures Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Proven experience operating Class 7 heavy-duty forklifts and telehandlers. Certification is a plus. First Aid certification preferred. Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong commitment to safety Strong attention to detail Must have the physical stamina handle physically demanding tasks. Ability to lift to 50lbs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
