Overview The overall purpose of this job is to meet or exceed
community occupancy goals by networking, marketing and following
the Immanuel sales process with prospective residents and/or their
families. The responsibilities of this job include professionally
representing Immanuel Communities in the community and to
prospective residents and their families. This position may also
provide leadership to an Assistant SLC. Supports and lives out
Immanuel’s Mission and CHRIST Promises.
Responsibilities KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities and Duties of the Job
Follows the Immanuel sales process (Value Match) to build a
relationship with the prospect that develops a level of trust and
eventually leads to closing the sale.
Makes personal visits and holds phone and in-person
conversations to assist prospects with solutions to housing
Enters data daily to generate weekly and monthly activity
reports and cultivates leads through various key referral and key
Assures that occupancy goals are met or exceeded.
Develops Top Ten strategy as a complementary partner to Value
Match that builds the relationship unique to each prospect, and
addresses how to initiate reservations from hot leads and
leads in a shorter timeframe.
Receives oversight from Corporate Sales Manager for occupancy
results, sales coaching, and the ValueMatch process.
Designs and implements lead generation strategies to build and
manage an effective database.
Plans and coordinates marketing events.
Uses key message points in presentations and at events to build
relationships and promote the Immanuel brand and reputation.
Participates in civic, community and church groups to enhance
the opportunity to educate, promote and host events about Immanuel
and senior living.
Joins and participates in the Greater Omaha Retirement Housing
Group (GORHG) or other local senior services organizations that
will assist in understanding the competition in the market.
Performs other duties as assigned or requested.
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, public relations,
or a related field.
Equivalent years of experience may be substituted for education
Two (2) years of experience in building and managing
relationships in consultative sales, public relations or related
industry is required.
One (1) year of experience in a supervisory or management
Equivalent years of education may be substituted for experience
KSA- Knowledge Skills and Abilities-
Knowledge of marketing and sales strategies and tactics.
Knowledge of seniors and senior residential programs.
Knowledge of sales process.
Skills in effective and professional verbal and written
Skills in operating software, including Microsoft Office
Skills in building relationships to generate trust and
Skills in presenting oneself professionally…in attire and
Skills in demonstrating effective sales presentations to groups
Skills in data entry and attention to detail.
Ability to manage, organize, and prioritize work.
