Overview: *RN, Occupational Health, Registered Nurse, Clinic
Nurse, Occ Health* *Location*
: 153rd and Q, may float to CUMC Bergan and Mercy Occupational
Health Clinics if needed *Hours*
: PRN, will range between 5a - 10p Responsibilities *JOB SUMMARY /
PURPOSE* Provides comprehensive occupational health assessment and
services to area businesses and industries in the community.
Assisting area businesses to maintain healthy and productive
workforce, by providing exceptional quality services and customer
services to clients of OHS. *ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES*
Utilize nursing skills to assess the health of workers who are
referred to OHS by their employers Performs testing procedures and
initiates appropriate interventions and referrals. Assesses and
recognizes symptoms of acute illness and refers for appropriate
treatment. Assesses physical and emotional needs of employees and
intervenes appropriately. Serves as a liaison between employees,
employers and the medical community. Documents all information
related to injuries and assists in the processing of Workers'
Compensation claims. Enters data related to services provided.
Follows OHS procedures for assisting in the billing of clients for
services provided. Qualifications *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS* Required
Education BSN or BSN must be obtained within 5 years of hire
Required Licensure and Certifications Must hold a valid RN compact
multistate license or single state license to practice in Nebraska
or Iowa depending on work state Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills
and Abilities 1 yr RN *PREFERRED Qualifications *
BSN or MSN; Minimum of one (1) year clinical experience as a
registered nurse in a Occupational Health Clinic, Emergency Room,
Urgent Care clinic, or General Medical office practice. Phlebotomy
Experience CommonSpirit Health participates in E-verify.
