Summary: Supports the Dean to advance the goals and strategies of the School of Pharmacy and Health Professions (SPAHP). As a member of the leadership team in the SPAHP this position provides leadership for effective management in all strategic and daily operations. Functions as a liaison for the Dean internally within the SPAHP, internally within CU with departments/colleges and externally with community affiliates. Qualifications:

  • Master's degree
  • Broad knowledge of educational administration with a commitment to the mission of Creighton University and Jesuit values.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office suites; willingness to learn new software tools as needed to support the work and projects of the Deans' Office and SPAHP.
  • Demonstrated experience in complex project management and support.
  • Outstanding organization, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, prioritize multiple tasks, manage projects, and work independently and collaboratively without close supervision. Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills and abilities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with multiple and diverse constituencies.
  • Demonstrated experience developing/preparing reports and drafting complex correspondence. Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Experience handling confidential information. Demonstrated track record of discretion in addressing confidential matters and sensitive situations.
  • Management or supervisory experience with demonstrated ability to build a team environment that facilitates coaching, mentoring and inter-professional collaboration.
  • Ability to remain flexible, optimistic, and effective in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and the ability to create a welcoming, inclusive, positive work environment for people from a variety of backgrounds and communities.
