We are looking for a bilingual Phlebotomist who is passionate
about caring for underserved populations in a team setting. The
Phlebotomists at OneWorld collect specimens from patients, perform
in-house testing, prepare specimens for outside testing, and record
lab results in an accurate and timely manner. They also comply with
all policies and regulations in regards to infection control and
safety. The Phlebotomists order lab supplies to ensure that there
is always an adequate supply.
This is a full-time position located on our main campus in South
Omaha (30th & L.) The schedule will be, Monday - Friday, between
the hours of 8am-5pm.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Certification as a Nurse Aide (CNA), or a Medical Assisting
- Prior phlebotomy training required.
- Phlebotomy certification preferred. (If not already certified,
must obtain phlebotomy certification within three months of
- Prior lab experience with patients of all ages preferred.
- CPR/BLS certification preferred. (If not already certified,
must obtain CPR/BLS certification within three months of
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required; prior
experience with an Electronic Health Record preferred.
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish required.
