Job Description:

Overview

Come work for an amazing facility located in Nebraska City! We have an amazing culture.  The team that works at St. Mary’s wants to be here and want to provide the best care possible to our patients, their families, and our community.  People who have visited our facility say that they can “feel the culture” when they walk in the door.

Why St. Mary's? Below are a few things that will set us apart!

  • We have a beautiful, new hospital
  • We are an 18 bed, critical access hospital with 5 additional ER rooms.
  • We provide multiple services—lab, PT/OT/ST, in-house MRI and CT, Surgical Services, Specialty Clinic, Sleep Lab, Respiratory Therapy, Occupational Medicine—just to name a few.
  • New, updated equipment
  • Our physician’s clinic is housed under the same roof and therefore, very accessible
  • We currently have 4 MD’s and 8 mid-level providers—Two new Family Practice with OB Physicians will be joining our group late this summer—so we will have 14 providers in house.
  • We have excellent relationships with our medical staff and have a very interactive, interdepartmental relationship with them
  • Our ER has a provider on-staff 24/7—they are always onsite
  • We have the designation of a level four trauma center
  • We have three nursing supervisors—Inpatient, Outpatient, and Ancillary Services—we all work together and are resources and support for one another!
  • The inpatient nursing team is made up of RN’s with varied experience-we welcome new grads and also have very experienced nurses who have been her 30-40 years. They are all cross trained to work in all three nursing areas (LDRP, ED, and Med-Surg) and maintain multiple certifications (NRP, PALS, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, Stable)
  • We have an average daily census of 8-12 patients and deliver approximately 125 babies per year
