What does a great Software Embedded Developer
As a Software Embedded Developer, you will primarily code
applications using standard programming languages such as Microsoft
Visual Studio C++, VB.Net, C#. Code machine subsystems,
Programmable Logic Controller, FPGA’s, Micro Controller. Write SQL
for Oracle and SQL server. Understanding of machine control
networks along with a mechanical amplitude to troubleshoot issues.
Work with the mechanical engineers on design and upgrades for new
and existing equipment. Write application design documentation,
maintain all manuals, tools and test equipment. Documenting,
training and deploying applications and equipment. Must be able to
identify improvements across processes and technologies to increase
customer capabilities. Must ensure cost savings initiatives
are occurring to reduce the amount of liability. This is
accomplished through project initiatives.
Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word,
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Visual Studio.
- Basic understanding for relational database and binary
- Ability to read and interpret
- Basic hand tool knowledge and experience.
- Perform machine application configuration.
Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education:
- Associate's Degree in Computer Science with a minimum of 1 year
work experience as an Associate Technical Engineer (or equivalent
educational background, i.e., military technical schools or work
Travel required: Percentage/frequency of travel
- Ten percent travel may be required/Two to 6 times per year
