Responsibilities
**$5,000 Sign-on bonus and $10,000 educational assistance available
to external candidates!**
Midwest Internal Travel Program has skilled team members that are
full time employees at CHI Health who are assigned 6 - 13 week
travel assignments within the entire Midwest Division, including
facilities in North Dakota, Nebraska, Iowa and Minnesota.
50% -100% premium differential
Assignments more than 50 miles from home earn up to a $1,220 living
stipend per week
Base rate of pay, shift differentials and merit increases are given
in identical manner as for all Core Staff
Assists with pre-procedure education and preparing patient for
procedure
Scrubs and assists physicians during procedures
Performs monitoring function throughout procedures. Documents
information in patient record
Performs arterial and/or venous sheath removal utilizing deployment
of closure devices, manual pressure, or mechanical compression and
transport patients
Performs daily maintenance, quality assurance testing, equipment
cleaning, and supply re-stocking
Effectively communicates and works cooperatively with team members,
patients, families, guests, and providers
On-call rotation may be required and must be able to respond to
emergent within 30 minutes of notification
Participates in all safety, security, and infection control
programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided
by the department
Demonstrates work practices consistent with CHI Health and
department-specific safety, security, infection control, and HIPAA
policies
Resource floating within the metro area may be required in order to
provide staffing support to other campuses

Qualifications
Education
Graduate of an AMA approved program in Radiologic Technology
Licensure & Certifications
Radiologic Technologist RT(R) credential from the ARRT OR
Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) credential
from CCI. New graduates who are registry eligible may be
considered. RT(R) or RCIS credential must be obtained within 6
months of start date.
Radiology Technologists must possess a Medical Radiographer License
in Nebraska and/or a Diagnostic Radiographer Permit in Iowa to
practice
BLS Certification from the American Heart Association
American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support
certification within 90 days of start date
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of radiographic views and equipment
Knowledge of EKG rhythms and abnormalities
Knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy
