telecommunications contractor hiring a full-time Directional Drill
Crew Foreman. The Directional Drill Crew Foreman lead and maintain
safely and efficient operation of their assigned crew.What will you
do?Provide communication and direction to crew membersPerform
duties of directional drill operators and laborersImplement and
perform steps to complete jobs in a timely mannerSet daily
production goalsConduct daily walk-throughsEnsure DOT
documentationMonitor and adhere to all safety processes and
proceduresConduct weekly tool box talksMaintain and submit required
reportingSet up safety perimeter using signage, cones and safety
barriers and at times flagging trafficConduct a Job Task Safety
Analysis (JTSA) prior to starting construction per JTSA
requirementsOther Duties as assignedQualifications:Previous
experience in a similar position and/or specific experience and
knowledge regarding the drill process and equipment with a focus on
crew leadership is requiredPrevious Ability to read prints and
interpret utility maps to identify the type and size of underground
utilitiesGood verbal and written communication skills, with the
ability to give descriptive and respectful directionMust be able to
proficiently use locators to safely identify utilitiesMust have
good troubleshooting and problem solving skillsMust be very safety
conscientiousBasic computer skills required, experience with Google
apps a plus!Valid drivers license required with an acceptable
driving recordUnrestricted Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement is a
plus (Higher wage scales apply to CDL holders)May be required to
work overtime: after regular business hours, weekends, or be on
emergency on-call as neededTravel may be requiredPhysical
Requirements:Climb into and out of equipment (trucks, cars,
backhoes, trenchers, etc.)Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs
regularly and up to 100 LBS as needed with or without
assistanceDuties outlined in this position will require the
employee to stand, crouch, sit, bend, use hands and fingers to
handle or feel as well as reaching with hands and arms to spaces
both high and low. The employee will be standing, walking,
climbing, balancing, crawling, crouching, lifting, holding or
stooping while on shiftAbility to work while wearing safety boots,
safety glasses and hardhatRemote work may be required - long
driving and sitting will be required in these instancesSpecific
vision abilities required to perform this job include but are not
limited to: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral
vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
potentially near and/or far as neededEmployees in this job
classification may be exposed to dust, fumes or other airborne
pathogensThe noise level in the work environment for this position
is moderate to loudAll work is outdoors so employees in this
position are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions which
can include but is not limited to: extreme heat and cold

as well as adverse driving conditions including wet roads, icy
