Job Description:
Provides end user software, network, and hardware support by
responding to telephone, email, or text inquiries, providing
assessment, and reconciling user issues. Business: Boys TownAre you

trends. As the Service Desk Specialist, you will be a part of the
first level triage team to resolve technical issues for Boys Town
users.Schedule: Full-Time - Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00
PMResponsibilities: Acts as front-line interface to users,
accepting requests for technical assistance for mobile devices,
thin clients, computer hardware, peripherals, software, network,
collaboration, communication, and productivity tools
support.Excellent interpersonal skills, in addition to effective
customer interaction skills.Tier 1 level support experience
preferred. Ability to do technical research to fix
problems.Knowledge of Windows 10, Office 365, LAN, WAN, and remote
access.Diagnoses and repairs hardware and software malfunctions,
user access, configuration, operations, and printing issues.Creates
a positive end-to-end customer experience and provides a single
point of contact.Diagnoses and repairs computer malfunctions, user
access, configuration, operations, and printing issues. Implements
hardware and software solutions.Enforce the latest affiliate
information system/desktop/security standards and initiatives.Uses
network and system software tools to pinpoint the nature and source
of user problems.Escalate complex issues to more senior IT staff
and follow through until resolved.Works with other divisions and
departments in a positive manner to resolve user or network
issues.Required Qualifications:Associate Degree in Computer
Science, related field, or equivalent is preferred.At least 1 to 3
years of IT experience including Desktop support and multiple
Windows environments.Ticketing services/Service Now experience
preferredKnowledge of AD, Splunk, Solar Winds preferred.Available
to travel and to work evenings or weekends as
needed.Certifications:Helpdesk applicable support certifications,
Windows certifications, or CompTIA A+ certification preferred.
