Job Description:

PRIMARY FUNCTION: Incumbents work under the direction of the Chief Security Officer or designee providing maximum protection and safety for residents, patients, County staff, and the public while also securing the property and grounds of the Douglas County Health Center (DCHC). QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or equivalent required. Two (2) years of experience in law enforcement or security involving public contact required. Completion of training in Psychiatric/Behavioral/Emergency (Code 55), Pressure Point Control Tactics (PPCT) and Crisis Prevention (CPI) within the first six (6) months of employment and retrain each year required. Experience in mental health care facilities preferred. Experience using Microsoft Office software preferred. Valid driver s license at the time of hire and throughout employment required. Completion of a pre-employment criminal records check, post-offer drug screen and physical assessment required.
