Physicians Mutual is hiring for a full time Sr. Endevor Administrator in our Enterprise Technology Group. This role will provide the overall Configuration Management, Change Management and Release Management (RM) infrastructure and environment for the company. Supports software and hardware design, building, testing deployment and operational support phases to ensure developers have appropriate workspaces and available artifacts. Works with Manager to attain management commitment to ensure successful CM and Release activities are communicated and understood throughout the company. Trains and provides periodic work guidance to the CM staff. Supports Configuration Engineers working with relevant parties to provide input, advice, and recommendations regarding CM challenges. Supports establishment and direction of Change Advisory Boards (CAB) and leadership direction. Works to ensure that environments facilitate product review, change, and defect tracking activities. Job Qualifications: 5 years' experience in Endevor Administration. Experience to include support, configuration, and administration of mainframe Endevor system. Hands on experience in TSO, JCL, COBOL, DB2, ISPF, PDS, PDS-E, TSO Utilities. Solid understanding of the full Software Development Life Cycle process. Knowledge of Production Support policies (Incident, Change and Problem management) Excellent communications, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail with ability to recognize problems, identify possible causes, and determine corrective action. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline. Experience in CA7 scheduling.
