Check out our Assembler role that starts at $20.54 + $2.00 shift differential. We are looking for 2nd shift: Monday through Friday 3:00PM-11:00PM.
A Brief Summary of This Position:
As an Assembler you will start at Level 1 assembling and painting gearboxes as part of the assembly line team. As you master this process you will begin to develop CNC and robotic cell operation skills to help you progress up to Level 4. You will follow established quality procedures to ensure high-quality work. You will enjoy working in a fast paced, physically and mentally challenging environment. You will also develop lean manufacturing skills and participating in safety, quality and process improvement activities. We operate in a safe manner - you will be provided with the necessary PPE.

Essential Functions:

• Operate air assisted lift equipment to relocate gearboxes from assembly line to paint and pallets
• Identify abnormal processes or incorrect parts and products
• Perform in process quality checks using tools including torque wrenches, calipers and other measuring tools
• Grasp small parts including bolts, screws, O rings, bearings, and races and attach them to the gearbox assembly
• Maintain shop and work areas in a clean and safe environment. This includes using the 5S methodology (sorting, straightening, shining, standardizing, and sustaining)Required Qualifications of Every Candidate:
  
  • Ability to safely lift up to 44 pounds repeatedly (150-256 times) throughout the shift
  • Be physically active including standing, bending, lifting, and walking during the entire shift
  • Understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English
  • Read print as small as 1/16 of an inch in sizeHighly Qualified Candidates Will Also Possess These Qualifications:
    
    • High school/GED, Associates Degree or Technical Certification
    • Mechanical assembly knowledge
    • Previous machine work experience with production equipment or performing tool changes
    • CNC or robotics experience
