join us as an EP Technologist - Radiologic Technologist. We are
specifically looking for Radiologic Technologists who have recently
graduated and are eager to start their careers in the field of
Electrophysiology (EP). At Nebraska Medicine, we offer the
opportunity to hire straight out of school and provide on-the-job
training for Radiologic Technologists interested in the EP
specialty. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for
cardiac electrophysiology and providing exceptional customer
service to our patients. The position is located at our main campus
in Omaha, NE.Nebraska Medicine's Electrophysiology department
provides EP Technologists with the chance to work with advanced
equipment and software while delivering care to patients with
cardiac rhythm disorders. As an EP Technologist specializing in
Radiology, you will have the opportunity to apply your radiology
skills in a specialized cardiac setting. Working in our fast-paced
and dynamic environment will allow you to expand your skills as a
Radiologic Technologist and gain valuable experience in EP

EP TechnologistUtilize departmental resources (e.g., personnel,
supplies, and capital equipment) to ensure timely and accurate
diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac cath lab at
the lowest possible risk and cost to the patient. Assure that
provided services meet cultural and age related needs of the
patient population served.Required Qualifications: EP
Technologist--- Degree from an accredited school of allied
health/cardiovascular technology required.--- Knowledge of proper
body mechanics required.--- Demonstrate effective communication
skills required.--- Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and
flexibility required.--- Current Nebraska State Medical
Radiographer license required.--- Radiologic Technologist (RT)
registration and ARRT licensure or Registered Cardiovascular
Invasive Specialist (RCIS) within 6 months of hire or transfer date
required.--- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
required within 60 days of hire.---Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification within 30 days of hire required, must be from an
American Heart Association (AHA) endorsed program (effective for
new hires starting January 1, 2023 or later).Preferred
Qualifications: EP Technologist--- Clinical experience in
interventional radiology, internship completion in radiology, or
cardiac cath lab experience preferred.--- Experience as scrub
assistant and operator of imaging equipment in cath/EP lab
preferred.--- Experience in patient monitoring and procedure
documentation in cath/EP lab or experience with working in a high
volume angiography department preferred.--- Radiology internship
with interventional radiology lab or cardiac cath lab preferred.---
Certification by the ARRT in cardiovascular interventional
