  • Great facility in eastern Nebraska is looking for a CVOR tech for a travel assignment.
    • Job Requirements
    • BLS.
    • Must graduate from an accredited school.
    • Must have experience scrubbing vascular cases, heart cases and thoracic cases.
    • Does not cover sterile processing.
      • Schedule Information
      • Scheduling is done by CVOR coordinator, usually have the same day off each week or adjusted based on census- 4-10 hour shifts
      • Call is typically 1 day a week, call starts at 5pm-7am
      • Call is typically 1 weekend a month
      • No holiday call requirements as a traveler but will allow them to pick up if desired
      • Call response time is 30 minutes in the OR dressed and ready to go
        • Unit Specific Information
        • Unit CVOR Tech
        • 2 dedicated heart rooms/ 1 Hybrid suite and 1-2 open surgical rooms for various cases
        • varied Vascular/thoracic and heart cases scheduled each day throughout the week
        • Common Cases include CABG/Valve replacement/Carotid Endarterectomy/Fem-pop bypass/Angios/thoracotomy
        • Charge nurse/CVOR Coordinator and house supervisor available every day
        • May have to float to Main OR if CVOR census low (this is rare)
        • Unit/Department specific orientation where you Orient with other CVOR surgical tech for a few days
          • Additional Details
          • scrubs provided by Methodist Hospital on arrival

          • Looking for someone that can go with the flow, jump in and be a team player when needed.
          • Someone flexible and willing to pick up call as needed.
          • 4x10 hour days plus call
