Job Description:
Lincoln Surgical Hospital and Nebraska Surgery Center are

atmosphere.We are looking for a quality focused RN to join our team
as a Quality Services Coordinator focusing on Quality Assurance and
Improvement.Hours: Full time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks),
Monday - FridayIn this position you will be responsible for
fostering an approach to continuously improving quality;
establishes quality improvement responsibilities; setting strategic
priorities for quality assessment and improvement for Lincoln
Surgical Hospital and Nebraska Surgery Center. You will assist with
the development, review and analysis of all elements of the QI
program and work alongside other Quality Coordinators to ensure
goals of the Quality Program are met.Job responsibilities include
but are not limited to:Manages and implements the written QI
Plans.Identifies and tracks ongoing key quality indicators,
including but not limited to patient satisfaction and
post-operative complications.Coordinates the development and
submission of the patient questionnaire data report to include
running, reviewing and analyzing patient satisfaction reports and
comments. Completes follow up as needed.Manages Peer Review process
and data according to policy.Maintains tracking logs and reports
trends at QAPI meeting.Assists in the identification of potential
solutions/corrective actions to resolve identified problem or to
provide improvement in care.Collaboration with each department to
identify areas for review and improvement and assists in the
development of criteria, plans, standards, policies, and
goals.Collaborates with Education Department and/or Unit Director
to develop just in time training to ensure that personnel
understands the criteria used for measuring, assessing and
evaluating improvements.Ensure the organization meets Accreditation
standards and demonstrates an ongoing commitment to Quality
Improvement. Uploads reports required by regulatory bodies on
time.Coordinates abstraction of patient charts for core quality
measures, prepared data reports and other mandatory data collection
for reporting.Coordinates and Chairs: QI Team meetings and
additional meetings as needed.Participate in all governing body on
site reviews including but not limited to CMS, OSHA and State
Surveyors.Manages incident reporting system, and reviews and tracks
incident reports.Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and
currently licensed to practice in the State of Nebraska as a
Registered Nurse. Current licensure from a compact state requires
Nebraska to be declared as their primary state of residence within
thirty (30) days and must also obtain a Nebraska temporary permit
or nursing license.Quality improvement experience and knowledge of
QI processes such as PDSA, FMEA, and root cause analysis.Quality
experience and knowledge to include but not limited to NHSN, AORN,
