Senior Training Administrator - Omaha, NE Job no: ****** Work type: Full Time Regular Location: Nebraska Categories: Banking Responsible for the administration the Bank's LMS (Learning Management System). Assists with leading and directing the updates and organizations of training programs/guides for Bank associates. Assesses elements and possible alternatives in the development of effective training programs/guides, which may involve research. Responsible for communicating with Bank associates and outside vendors. May also assist in other administrative and budgeting tasks associated with administrating Bank training such as record keeping system and coordinating participation in outside training events. Essential Job Functions: * Administers the Bank's LMS system, ensuring all Bank, Synergy One Lending and Retirement Funding Solutions associates receive and complete the annual required compliance training curriculum. * Researches, plans and coordinates training programs, seminars and conferences for Bank associates. * Develops, coordinates, and produces training programs using adult learning principles to contribute to the success of personnel. Identifies appropriate tools to ensure curriculum meets learning objectives and contributes to an overall, enhanced performance outcome. Design and implement studies to determine training effectiveness and deliver educational programs as needed. * Consults with management regarding training needs and management development. Contacts attendees and department representatives about training program. * Schedules the appropriate classroom and prepares the physical setup, including any audiovisual equipment. Acts as a point of-contact for outside training vendors. * Administers a record keeping system to track employee training participating and progress. * Monitors training effectiveness by deploying training evaluation surveys and observing periodic training sessions. Prepares and delivers evaluations in order to provide performance evaluations as well as recommendations to management on possible improvement opportunities. May research, evaluate and prepare cost benefit analysis and make recommendations regarding technology based training. * Ensures representation on special projects. Maintains current knowledge of company products and services, relevant systems and various methods of training delivery. * Prepares or orders training material from printing vendor and ensures delivery of material to the applicable Bank associates. Prepares reports of quality results for use by management in evaluating performance or developing training. * Ensures invoices are paid. * Continues to develop knowledge and stay abreast of all applicable changes, including Bank processes, procedures, systems, industry laws and regulations. * Complies with all Federal, State and Industry laws and regulations pertaining to Banking. * This position requires sitting over 66% of the time. * This position requires Visual Acuity at 20 inches (or less) over 66% of the time. Minimum Qualifications: * Experienced as a training administrator, HR assistant or related role. Includes the development of quality training material, procedures and the delivery of effective training in a variety of environments. * Highly developed leadership skills. * Strong planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities. * Strong oral and written communication skills and well-developed/excellent classroom/presentation skills. Poacgeess1 of 6 * Demonstrated teamwork, initiative and the ability to accomplish tasks independently with minimal direction and continuous pr improvement efforts. * Broad knowledge of banking industry and strong understanding of corporate and division policies, practices and procedures. * Strong technical background with ability to use various software applications and ability to manage integration of business systems (systems include Excel, JIRA, PowerPoint, Outlook, PeopleSoft, MS office suite of products, Captivate). * Strong Human Relations and Customer Service skills. * Ability to handle detail work accurately within established deadlines and under pressure.
