General Purpose of Job
This position will consult/analyze and deliver on
assignments/projects for his/her assigned area(s) of Talent
Development responsibility. S/he will also act as a resource to
applicable internal/external stakeholders who request talent
development/training services. S/he will intake, evaluate, and
manage talent development/training requests to ensure
organizational readiness for his/her assigned area(s) of
responsibility. S/he will manage all requests in a department-wide
portfolio.Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads the intake, analysis and client engagement process for
learning and development projects.
- Develops and maintains project charters, documents, status
reports, measurements, and performance expectations for all
- Develops and executes on learning and development projects
throughout the project development lifecycle, including but not
limited to project planning, resource planning, change management
and communications planning, and managing changes to scope.
- Manages and delivers training projects conforming to project
management standards and processes, as designated by his/her
assigned area of responsibility, including applicable learning and
development and project management methodologies.
- May conduct training and ongoing training evaluations to ensure
effectiveness of programs and recommends training modifications as
- Serves as a trusted training resource and ensures training
materials, procedures, plans and/or programs reflect business needs
and support organizational readiness.
- Follows consulting methodology to develop learning solutions
- May serve as a mentor and share knowledge with junior and peer
- Consults/Analyze on more complex assignments and/or projects
for his/her assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Maintains knowledge on current trends and identify new emerging
developments, trends and technology-based solutions for assigned
area(s) of responsibility, assesses the impact, and collaborates
with management to incorporate new trends and developments in
current and future solutions.
- Champions and enhances organizational initiatives by positively
influencing and supporting change management and/or
departmental/enterprise initiatives within assigned area(s) of
- Serves as a resource to team members and applicable
internal/external stakeholders on assignments/projects for his/her
assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- 4 Year/Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4 years
of experience in lieu of Bachelor's) - Minimum Required
- 3 - 5+ Years experience in learning and development and/or
project management that directly aligns with the specific
responsibilities for this position (Required)
- Familiarity with content development methodologies (e.g. ADDIE,
SAM, Agile). Knowledge of rapid design/development methodologies
and software tools.
- Prior experience in facilitating instructional sessions.
- Travel Type: National Domestic
- Travel Amount: up to 15%
