JOB DESCRIPTIONSummary/ObjectiveThe Service Technician position
conducts troubleshooting, emergency repairs and preventive
maintenance service.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations

essential functions.Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of
application equipment during pumping season and performs scheduled
maintenance repairs of application equipment in the offseason. Also
supports company owned equipment.Performs mechanic skills
including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic
and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of application
equipment.Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to
perform required maintenance and service.Interacts with customers
and vendors by responding in a timely fashion to questions,
concerns, and troubleshooting. Gathers information and determines
the issue by evaluating and analyzing the symptoms; diagnoses and
resolves the issue(s).Researches required information using
available resources; and follows standard processes and
procedures.Ensures an issue has been resolved to completion and
follows-up with the customer or vendor where necessary to close the
loop.Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly
condition. Comply with OSHA and PCE safety rules.Non-Essential

performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently
exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and
vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of
extreme conditions at job sites. The noise level in the work
environment and job sites can be loud. Physical DemandsThe physical
demands described here are representative of those that must be met
by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of
this job.While performing the duties of this job, the employee is
regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active
and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping,
crouching, crawling, twisting, and climbing all day. The employee
must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific
vision abilities required by this job include close vision,
distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception
and ability to adjust focus.Position Type and Expected Hours of
WorkThis is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through
Friday. Hours of work are:Day shift begins no later than 8:00 a.m.
and runs until 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Evening shift runs
from 5:00 p.m. to Midnight, 35 hours per week. An additional 1 hour
of time will be added as time worked to any evening shift where a
team member has worked the full 5:00 p.m. to Midnight shift (for
example, if a team member works 5:00 p.m. to Midnight Monday
through Friday in a given workweek, they will be considered to have
worked 40 hours). Opportunities to work extended hours and on the
weekend work may be optional or required as job duties demand.
TravelTravel is primarily local during the business day, although
some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.Required
Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED diploma, or
three to six months' related experience (in farming, construction,
carpentry, or manufacturing) or training, or equivalent combination
of education and experience.Preferred Education and ExperienceThree
to six months'+ experience in safely operating agriculture
equipment or machines.2-year technical degree2+ years of related
experienceWorking knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems;
appropriately route and install hydraulic hoses and electrical
wiring and components.Experience with metal working equipment such
as welders, torches, saws, drill presses, iron workers, hydraulic
