CompanyFederal Reserve Bank of Kansas CitySeeking an Experienced
or Senior Technician with commercial maintenance experience to work
in the Omaha Branch of the Federal Reserve.Starting Salary Range:
$55,000- 65,000Key Activities:Performs routine repair and
maintenance of various systems including, but not limited to,
plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems and related equipment
with little to no supervision. Alternately, may perform general
building-related construction tasks, and maintain the exterior
structure.Completes routine service calls and work order requests,
as assigned. These may include temperature complaints, equipment
failures, loss of electrical power, plumbing problems, or
completing general work, such as reconfiguration of office
furniture.Assists in all phases of various facilities-related
assignments including renovation and maintenance projects. Work is
assigned by project lead or supervisor.Assists in inspecting and/or
monitoring automated energy management system and emergency
equipment to ensure environmental conditions of the facility are at
appropriate levels, and equipment will be fully functioning in the
event of an emergency. Maintains status records and data for
automated preventive maintenance system as directed.Completes
miscellaneous ad-hoc tasks, as assigned. These include, but are not
limited to, maintaining a key inventory; ordering parts and
supplies and maintaining appropriate inventory and equipment
records; and organizing warehouse deliveriesCompletes moderately
complex service calls and work order requests, as assigned. Tasks
may include, but are not limited to, installing keyboard trays,
office furnishings repairs, key delivery, and hanging artwork.
Maintains work order system records, as appropriate.Completion of
all bank training including Safety Program.Refrigeration
troubleshooting and repair.Kitchen equipment Maintenance and
repairQualifications:High school diploma or equivalent
required.Vocational certification in a skilled craft, plumbing,
electrical, Electronics or HVAC is preferred (equivalent military
experience/training is acceptable).Typically requires at least 1-3
years of working in a Commercial Facility.Basic ability to read
blueprints to determine how work is to be performed.Strong customer
service skills.Ability to read and understand
manufacturers'-warnings, labels, instructions, and Material Safety
Data sheets (MSDS)Basic computer skills, including but not limited
to Microsoft Office applications, internet applications and
operating computers associated with assigned equipment or
systemsStrong customer service skills, -oral communication, and
interpersonal skills.Ability to multitask and use time efficiently
to meet project deadlines.Ability to identify procedural
improvements, make suggestions and assist in implementing
changesMust possess a willingness to expand skill setAbility to
work weekend shifts or Overtime depending upon project or
