Research Technician (Part-Time; Temporary) GENERAL REQUISITION
INFORMATION Vaccination Requirement The University of Nebraska
Medicine Center ( UNMC ) requires COVID -19 vaccinations for all
students, staff, and faculty. All employees must be fully
vaccinated unless they have requested and been approved for an
exemption based on a recognized medical reason, a sincerely held
religious belief, or a pre-approved, 100% remote work agreement.
Fully vaccinated means having received one dose of a single dose
COVID -19 vaccine (Johnson & Johnson) or both doses of a two-dose
COVID -19 vaccination series (Moderna and Pfizer). As a prospective
and/or a new employee at UNMC , you will be/are required to comply
with the UNMC's vaccination protocol. Non-faculty new hires,
rehires and transfers will have five (5) days from the date of hire
to provide proof of partial or full vaccination or to request a
medical or religious exemption. Non-faculty new hires, rehires and
transfers with proof of partial vaccination may have up to
thirty-five (35) days from the hire date to be in full compliance
with this policy. Non-faculty new hires, rehires and transfers who
receive a denial of a request for medical or religious exemption
will be given five (5) business days from exemption denial
notification date to provide proof of compliance with this policy.
Non-faculty new hires, rehires and transfers with no approved
exemption who fail to comply with this policy will be separated.

TEMPORARY A Research Technician (part-time) position is available
in the Department of Radiation Oncology, University of Nebraska
Medical Center. This individual will perform complex duties related
to cell biology, biochemistry, and in vivo mouse model studies in
assisting with ongoing collaborative research focusing on breast
and pancreatic cancer research. The duties include maintaining
routine supplies, performing research experiments, and documenting
experiment procure/notes/ results. Based on the contribution, this
individual may earn authorship in publications. The position
requires good organization, communication, and analytical skills.
