Responsibilities

Department/Business Unit: System Engineering /Utility Operations Location: North Omaha Station, Omaha, NE Duration/Work Term: May 2023 December 2023 (Summer/Fall Term) Work Schedule: Flexible hours available, Monday-Friday, 8-hr days, or four 10-hr days per week Pay: $21.69/hour with paid Holidays Job Responsibilities:

• Review operational data and update trends
• Process drawing changes
• Support system engineers in miscellaneous duties
• Collect data to support engineering evaluations
• Evaluate and make recommendations associated with minor work orders
  
  Qualifications
  
  Specific fields of study required: Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering Preferred:
  • Enrolled in a 4-year Bachelors of Science in Engineering program
  • Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Student preferred, but can be chemical engineering, civil engineering, or agricultural engineering as well
  • Ideally will have completed sophomore year but not a requirement
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • US Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Current full-time college student pursuing engineering degree program
  • Must be attending an accredited college/university Technical Ability (i.e. software): Good familiarity with Microsoft Office products such as excel, word, outlook, etc. AutoCad experience may come in handy but not expected.
