Shift:First Shift (United States of America) Pharmacy Technician - Retail - $750 Sign on Bonus Position Highlights: Nebraska Medicine is now taking applications for a talented individual to join us as a Pharmacy Technician for our general outpatient retail pharmacy. This role will be great for someone that has a passion for Pharmacy and great customer service for our patients we serve. This specific position will work at the V illage Pointe Medical Office building in Omaha, Nebraska Our Pharmacy Technician role is currently offering a $750 sign on bonus. Come join us Prepares and dispenses medication upon receiving prescription from prescribers and processes all related duties under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.Required Qualifications: Minimum of 18 years of age required. Ability to attend and successfully complete 160 hours of on the job training required. High school education or equivalent required. Ability to complete moderate to difficult mathematical calculations using a hand held calculator required. Registered as a pharmacy technician with the State of Nebraska Board of Pharmacy required.Preferred Qualifications: Work experience which demonstrates analytical ability, judgment, and interpersonal skills in pharmacy or healthcare preferred. College coursework in pharmacy preferred. Ability to type 20 wpm (with error correction) preferred. Pharmacy Technician Certification preferred. Nebraska Medicine is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
