Immanuel is seeking a Corporate Construction Senior Project Manager
to work at Immanuel Home Office located at 1044 North 115th Street,
Omaha, NE 68154.
The overall purpose of this job is to establish project strategy
and oversee major construction and capital improvement projects.
The responsibilities of this job includes development of overall
infrastructure of a projects including but not limited to
coordination of budgets, plans, schedules, involvement of key
stakeholders, and final reporting and documentation. May provide
project management to one or more projects at a time and will use
formal project planning techniques. This position assists in
leading the Corporate Construction Project Manager(s) providing
direction, guidance, development, and may assist in their projects
as needed.
Pay will be based upon experience, certifications, skills and
education.

Key Areas
Key Responsibilities and Duties of the Job
Planning and Logistics
Develops the overall infrastructure of construction projects
including resources, timelines, budgets and objectives.
Works with key stakeholders to prepare selections, delivery
schedules, installation of owner-provided furniture, fixtures and
equipment (FF&E) and technology.
Works with key stakeholders to establish and maintain building
standards that meet budget, quality standards and user needs.
Oversees planning, design and construction operations of assigned
projects.
Operations Management
Oversees and coordinates daily operations of assigned project
ensuring quality work and completion of contracted services.
Ensures that projects are completed according to the timeline and
budget, making adjustments and/or resolving issues that are
impeding established schedule and budget goals.
Risk management as related to assigned projects.
Builds and maintains relationships with partner vendors,
consultants and contractors.
Builds and maintains relationships with communities and
centers.
Maintains open and direct lines of communication and coordination
with front line environmental services staff.
Oversees the set-up phase for new facilities, including the
planning and installation of fixtures, furnishings and
equipment.
Supports the development and function of effective building systems
and technology in all facilities, including security and life
safety systems.
Ensures timely and effective delivery of collaborative solutions to
problems.
Documentation
Prepares scope of work documents for assigned projects.
Prepares progress, budgetary, and other necessary reports.
Maintains all necessary project documentation for files.
Works with the Accounting department to prepare final accounting
and project capitalization reports.
Leadership
Oversees Corporate Construction Project Manager(s) as assigned.
Assists in the development of construction team members.
May contribute appropriate, timely, fair, clear, and accurate
information to the VP of Construction, Facilities Management &
Engineering on the Corporate Construction Project Manager(s)
performance reviews.
Other
Education-
Bachelor's degree in construction management or business management
required.
Equivalent years of experience may substitute for education
requirement.
Experience-
Five (5) years of construction or project management experience is
required.
Two (2) years of supervisory or lead experience preferred.
Equivalent years of education may substitute for experience
requirement.
