Qualifications include---
--- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
--- Registered Professional Engineer with 5-12 years of experience. DOT experience desirable.
--- Ability to work well with, coach and direct others.
--- Proficient in Autodesk Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint. Exposure to ArcGIS, AutoCAD, Bluebeam.
--- Ability to establish and maintain client relationships.
--- Possess strong technical writing and communication skills.
--- Ability to plan and deliver effective oral and written presentations.
--- Strong organizational and technical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
--- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
--- Strong problem-solving skills. Capable of defining the problem, identifying solutions and presenting recommendations.
Duties & Responsibilities includes but not limited to---
--- Assist in monitoring project progress as required to assure meeting of deadlines in conjunction with the Project Manager.
--- Perform design tasks or delegate tasks to project engineers and technicians, answer questions and monitor progress daily.
--- Responsible for detailed project design decisions (with input from PM).
--- Prepare correspondence, reports, plans, specs, permit applications and cost estimates. Review those prepared by project engineers.
--- Coordinate with Project Construction Engineer during project design, bid and construction phases.
--- Assist in engineering analysis and preparations of engineering reports, maps, drawings, designs, spec, plans, and permits for projects.
--- Assist with analyses and designs for roadway, parking lots, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, water distribution, grading, and other roadway infrastructure.
