** FC Inventory Clerk****Job Category****:** FULFILLMENT CENTER **Requisition Number****:** FCINV002677 Showing 1 location **Job Details****Description****Essential Functions:*** Run and work various system reports to proactively address inventory issues, to include product mix between buildings and held orders* Direct the movement of product to and from locations in accordance with slotting procedures* Solve problems noted by Stockers, Supervisors, and customer service staff by physically counting and checking merchandise in warehouse and submitting problems to Supervisor* Research inventory variance reports to ensure accuracy* Monitor product expiration dates and coordinate removal from stock* Maintain warehouse adjustments and adjustment codes* Count inventory located throughout warehouse and verify quantity, case packs, item number, and other information in accordance with cycle count schedule* Routinely clean-up old inventory to maintain location accuracy* Review bin transactions and history to research inventory discrepancies; recommend solutions and corrective actions to Supervisor* Prepare product samples for internal customers* Accurately records time and job functions using electronic time sheets* Follow company policies, procedures, and safe work practices* Interact and communicate with peers to achieve department objectives and goals* Actively participate in impact planning sessions and work to improve engagement* Maintains regular and predictable attendance* Abides by all policies and procedures of Oriental Trading Company* Must be able to attend face to face meetings on short or little advance notice* Work requires in-person collaboration among colleagues and contractors.**Heres what you need to join the fun:*** High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience* OTC Fulfillment Center experience preferred* Ability to work with spreadsheets* Good mathematical and analytical skills* Focused and detail oriented* Excellent oral and written communication skills* Ability to work independently and in a team environment* Knowledge of inventory control normally acquired through OTC job experience* Ability to communicate and understand English in verbal and written form* Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team environment* Ability to respond with flexibility to changing work demands* May be necessary to work required extra hours, including weekends based on business needs* May be required to perform any of the above functions at any of the company locations* Must be able to walk or stand almost continuously for the duration of the shift* Frequent climbing of stairs, to various locations in the warehouse* Ability to push, squat, bend, and reach overhead on a frequent basis* Ability to frequently move or lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally move or lift up to 50 pounds in order to pull product from bins* Lift items weighing up to 20 pounds overhead* May be required to be certified in equipment operations (must be at least 18)* Ability to work in elevated work areas up to 28 feet high**(Externals)****To apply in less than ten minutes** click the Apply button or view a complete list of our current openings at **(Internals)****To apply in less than ten minutes, log in to Ultipro.** * Click on the Home tab* Click on Current Job Opportunities**ATTENTION:** **If you are creating a new profile, you must Save the profile information and then login with your new user when prompted to complete the application process.**All work and no play just isnt our style.
