Cornerstone OnDemand is seeking a Senior Analyst - Reporting
and Technical Accounting to join our Technical Accounting and Reporting team. This role will report to the Finance Director. A successful candidate is a leader, strong communicator, problem solver, hardworking, and able to interact with management and various teams on a regular basis.
In this role you will---.

• 
  
• 
  Drive the quarterly and annual reporting process including identifying financial statement disclosure requirements, communicating requirements to various owners, and validating disclosure submissions for completeness and accuracy
  
  
• 
  Prepare reporting for lender relations including adjusted EBITDA, compliance certificates, lender presentation, scripts, responses to lender questions
  
  
• 
  Prepare other financial reporting required by regulators
  
  
• 
  Prepare the statements of cash flows
  
  
• 
  Assess accounting and financial reporting implications of new accounting standards
  
  
• 
  Assist the team in researching, resolving, and documenting technical accounting questions
  
  
• 
  Prepare technical accounting memos for areas including going concern, segment analysis, functional currency assessment, M&A, etc.
  
  
• 
  Identify and improve areas to gain efficiencies or strengthen processes
  
  
• 
  Analyze financial statements and supporting documentation
  
  
• 
  Contribute to chart of account organization decisions and own financial statement line item mapping
  
  
• 
  Maintain systems and procedures to comply with SOX requirements; Initiate corrective actions as necessary
  
  
• 
  Contribute to ad-hoc projects and other accounting-related duties as requested

  • 
    Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent work experience
    
    
  • 
    3+ years of accounting experience, including related experience
    
    
  • 
    Understanding of US GAAP
    
    
  • 
    Strong problem solving, critical thinking, and documentation skills
    
    
  • 
    Willingness to take on new challenges, responsibilities, and assignments
    
    
  • 
    Positive attitude and ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
    
    
  • 
    Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required to interact upward with the executive team and cross functionally
    
    
  • 
    Comfortable working in ambiguous, fast-paced environments and managing multiple, competing priorities and requests
    
    
  • 
    Advanced proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
    
    
  • 
    High standards for quality and attention to detail
    
    
  • 
    Ability to coach and develop staff
