support that challenge, the Waterloo Production Team is currently
seeking Logistics Coordinator in Elkhorn/Omaha/Waterloo area. You
will help shape the future of agriculture by: Producing a
reliable supply of high-quality seed by executing production plant
tasks assigned by Plant Management. Organize, perform, and
lead in assigned departments to ensure all required processes,
procedures and production requirements are met. Position will
take on several roles based upon field production practices, plant
processing requirements and distribution needs. Manage field
operations, seed receiving, and conditioning equipment operations
to ensure that all seed is properly handled and conditioned so the
highest quality seed will be packaged to meet sale
demands.Accountabilities Customer centeredBe accountable to
the teamStrict adherence to all HSE & Corporate policies,
procedures, and guidelinesResponsible for the adherence to product
specificationsActive participation in plant projects, continuous
improvement, and risk assessmentsMinimize downtime through
preventative maintenance and routine inspectionsAbility to learn
operation skills for a variety of equipmentAccurately checked seed
movements for production orders or deliveriesAssist with inventory
management, product movements, scale operationPerform physical
inventory and cycle countsAbility to manage time wiselyProactive
communication both interdepartmentally and cross
functionallyProvide direction and training for employees and
third-party personnel as requiredPerform other duties as required
to meet field, plant, or site production
needsQualificationsRequirements High School Diploma or GED
requiredValid US Driver?s License and in good standingWillingness
to obtain forklift certification (on-site training)Ability to work
shifts, weekends, and overtimeAbility to walk fields in all weather
conditions and on various types of terrainAbility to be on feet for
long periods; frequent climbing stairs, bending and stoopingAbility
to lift 70 lbsIndividual must be authorized to work in the United
States for Syngenta without work authorization sponsorship now or
in the futurePreferred Requirements Experience working in
Agriculture or Seed IndustryAssociates and/or bachelor?s degree in
