Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Bellevue, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $3,014 per week Shift Information: Nights - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years required in a large, urban hospital License: Active RN License required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS, NIH, CPI preferred Must-Have: - 2 years of prior experience - EPIC charting experience - Ability to float within scope Description: This position requires RNs to be prepared to float frequently to meet the staffing needs of the facility. The unit focuses on the care of the medical/surgical and telemetry population with an emphasis on orthopedic patients. Additional surgical specialties include surgical oncology, general surgery, gynecology surgery, and oral and maxillofacial surgery. Telemetry monitoring is accommodated on the unit. Patient ratios are typically 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night. Rarely, night ratios can reach 1:7 depending on staffing. All licensed nurses must adhere to facility protocols and can be required to float to various units if staffing needs arise. A focus on teamwork is paramount, with care teams including CNAs, care techs, transport teams, and paramedics. Candidates must be nicotine-free as this is a 100% nicotine-free facility. Nurses are required to work 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible within a 4-week period. RTO (requested time off) must be submitted with the application. All travelers must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. Travelers must provide proof of licensure within 48 hours of submission. All contracts must end on a Sunday. The facility will not accept locals; candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility. This position may involve the management of various drips including nitroglycerin, heparin, and insulin protocols, among others. Travelers must undergo laboratory testing within 48-72 hours upon accepting the offer. Compliance documents must be submitted by the deadline prior to the start date.
